Personality||
Coltrane was raised in an energetic and lenient family of two younger twin siblings, one older brother and an eccentric mother married to a hardworking kid-loving man of a father. He's mostly a pacifist, and prefers not to take sides in physical fights. If he needs to, however, he'll take a verbal stand to make his point; right up until the point that someone persuades him that he's wrong(something that's surprisingly easy to do).
Gentle, trusting and always trying to make friends, he can no doubt be thought of as slightly clingy and annoying in his continuous attempts to make conversation.
History||
Coltrane Black was born and raised in Lavender Town, the "grave site of all pokémon". He met Lila Tedya there, and as children they were already sweet and inseparable. During a festival, Coltrane and Lila bought themselves two pendants which were part of a set pair. They each kept their piece to themselves, even after Lila's family moved away after they decided Coltrane wasn't the very best company for her.
Later on, his mother and father -- one in the grave-keeping business the other in radio, respectively -- noticed Coltrane' affinity with ball sports, and decided to send him to a sports camp.

Additional Info||
Has one mother(Rapidash), one father(Typhlosion), one older brother(Charizard), two younger siblings(arcanine brother and growlithe sister).
The pendant around his neck is the half of a white mask -- the other half belongs to Lila Tedya, a childhood friend and love.
