Personality||
A rather cool and sadistic bastard of a man, Xerxes makes choices and actions as quickly and hastily as a man on a sugar rush. Xerxes is aggressive and assertive, preferring to make his own decisions rather than to leave them to someone else. He'd rather be the attacker than the attacked; the chasing rather than the chased; the doctor rather than the patient. He hates relying on others, keeping to himself and his cell phone, which is hung around his neck for easy reach.
Overall, he's a strict person with a bit of a short fuse who doesn't like repeating himself, and will strive to wreak revenge on whosoever does him wrong, no matter the strenuous efforts required to reach that goal. He's organized and punctual, keeping dates and timetables all neat and tidy in that useful little cellphone of his.

History||
Xerxes was born in Snowpoint City; a rather strange place to find a Luxray, perhaps, but nonetheless that was what happened. He is the youngest child in his family, who owns a hospital atop the mountain that is Snowpoint City. The snow serves to be a cage, or a trap, for the sick who are sometimes unable to acquire medicines from the supply towns below. Thus, the Terrathen Memorial Hospital(dedicated to Xerxes's great grandfather who died during the construction of the hospital) -- in conjunction with AEDS(Anywhere Everywhere Delivery Service) -- was erected in Snowpoint.

Born into a strict family of private tutors and sick and dying everyday, Xerxes hit his rebellious stage a few years earlier than most, and spent most of his time... rebelling. Smoking, drugs, drinking... whatever. In time he calmed down, and with his brother, a psychiatrist's, help in addition to Xerxes' natural strong will, he abandoned his bad habits and started studying practical application of medicine. That is, he studied to be a doctor. This period of time was when he was 17.

At age 19, he developed a serious lung problem which caused difficulties with his breathing. It was all psychological, really, after a group of gangsters teamed up on him, torturing him and dragging him along to their several friends for more beat-ups: throughout this pitiful journey, they broke several of his ribs as well as both legs and his right arm. Not even his well-experienced brother could help him reach full recovery, even after two years of therapy in which Xerxes slowly improved until he could improve no more in his brother's care.

As part of an extensive therapy session, it was decided for Xerxes to become a counselor at a sports camp, where maybe a little exercise, fresh air and change of scenery would help him better than the frosty chill of Snowpoint ever would.

The reason behind his mean personality is unknown.

His father(Luxray, 56) is the director of a hospital, whilst his mother(Zebstrika, 58) is a doctor at the same hospital. He has one older brother(Jolteon, 27) and one older sister(Ampharos, 29), making Xerxes the youngest in his family.
On the home screen of his cell phone is a picture of a pikachu-girl, an online pen-pal that he's never talked to in person, but was apparently treated at his father's hospital. He confides to her frequently, like a living diary that provides feedback.
His phone is always on silent-mode, a habit kept from spending most of his time in a hospital. It's a habit kept so long he doesn't remember what his ring-tone even sounds like anymore. However, this has caused him to develop the most urgent sensitivity to the smallest of vibrations or movements, as long as his cell-phone is touching him.
